At Elco Plastics, we have always believed that consistent quality is one of our biggest priorities. Our continuous improvement approach has proved to reap rewards. We have continuously upgraded our facilities and equipment to ensure that product consistency is delivered. This is obtained through state-of-the-art automated production lines and a company-wide commitment to quality. Our laboratory checks production continuously to ensure products are manufactured within specification. Our obsession with quality has also motivated us to become ISO compliant. We are accredited with ISO 9001 compliance.
Safety and environment
We have implemented a management system aligned with ISO 45001 as part of our commitment to ensuring the safety of all our staff.
Elco Plastics is committed to the successful implementation of an environmental management system aligned with ISO 14001.
Sustainability
We believe that we need to think about the future of our children and the environment that we will leave as legacy to them and generations to come. With this in mind, we formulate products that are designed for long-term use and remain recyclable at the end of life.
We are a founding member of the Southern African Vinyls Association (SAVA) and proudly comply with their Product Stewardship Commitment. We also regularly donate the time of our senior staff to serve on the SAVA board to ensure our involvement in this noble cause. This means that we commit to the selection of sustainable raw materials, and we buy from reputable suppliers that have a similar ethos.
